1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Anvaya Maps (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials confidential and enable two-factor authentication when offered.
• Notify us immediately at anvaya.map@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial navigation and discovery. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or bulk-download maps or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Upload or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property.
• Use automated systems (bots, spiders) without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service or associated networks.

4. Intellectual Property

All maps, graphics, code, and other content we provide are protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. Commercial use, reproduction, or redistribution without our prior written consent is prohibited.

5. User-Generated Content (UGC)

• You retain ownership of content you submit.
• By submitting UGC, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and adapt it for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this licence.
• We may remove UGC that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the maps or data are complete, accurate, or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anvaya Maps and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed INR 1,000.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anvaya Maps, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service.

10. Modifications to Terms or Service

We may modify these Terms or any part of the Service at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide reasonable notice (e.g., email or in-app banner). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction. Before filing a suit, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting anvaya.map@gmail.com.
